Thank you very much! I shouldn't say this, but I'm glad you've really felt the story.

Wonderful. I can picture her deciding to take David away from the Resistance, and leaving it all behind; you made her real and believable.

One problem I noticed: Ser Galen was supposedly killed in the explosion that killed his older son (David's brother). Duv believed this wholeheartedly; that's why he was shocked when Ser Galen showed up again. Yet you have him coming to David the night after his older brother died.

Now I'm rather confused regarding Mrs. Galen's death, because Galeni says that she died because of his brother's death and other deaths that Ser Galen and his people had provoked in the name of the cause. Based on that I assumed that she died after her firstborn did, but then Galeni explains that once Ser died, he no longer had any family left, so his mother should've died before Ser and after her eldest son. Maybe I'm missing something here, but I always believed Ser died in a different explosion.

Well, anyway, thank you very much for commenting. In any case if I'm wrong I'll just have to warn people that it's slightly AU, thanks for pointing it out.

As to Ser Galens death - I didn't specifically check and I will but I didn't pick that up as a problem becuase like you I always thought Ser Galen was the last to die (as far as Duv was aware) of his family

I thought that too. If you find the answer, would you tell me, please? That way I can see whether I have to tag this as AU or not.

Bye!
