I'm glad you were able to cope with the downs and get yourself out of them reasonably easily.

The way you're describing it, sounds like you actually got quite a bit done, even if you didn't hit your word goal.

July sounds really busy, too.

Thanks. And yeah, when I wrote it all out, it didn't seem as unproductive a month as it felt like it was. It's just, the story this entire year has been me making progress on writing projects that *aren't* my priorities, and the things that I prioritized early in the year just keep falling further and further down my list. Which makes me feel like I'm a failure. Gah.

Ah well, here's hoping July is better all around.

I like the Thor post - I think the point about the lack of BME people with significant roles/lack of diversity in the New Mexico storyline is well-taken.
