Oh, gosh, like listening to Life of Agony's "Let's Pretend" all over again. Which is to say, always a wrenching story to hear. I'm always amazed when people can share very personal things about themselves. Bravo, sir. And progress is incremental, but a beautiful thing.

Progress IS a beautiful thing!

I just looked up those lyrics, as I was unfamiliar. Damn, that made me tear up a bit. I think I have it a lot better than a lot of adopted kids because I was given up at birth, so I never had memories of knowing and then being removed from my birthmother. That would royally suck.
