Just one suggestion. I would add a border="0" to the image, that way if it's a linked image (meaning you can click on it), you don't get that ugly purple border on. If that makes sense. What do you think?
I actually thought of adding many things, like cols and rows to textarea, and borders and target="_blank"s but I'm afraid it'll make it even more confusing for the newbies... or would it?

For the throbbing heart and emoticons, just follow what I did in "♥ IMAGE". That's a google emoticon too. You just need to know what is the URL for the emoticons you want. For the pink throbbing one, it's this - https://mail.google.com/mail/e/softbank_ne_jp/B11. :)

Hmmm - maybe as additional info - I don't think it'd hurt. Because you know that someone will ask at one point. But then, that's all up to you :D
