Ah, my mistake.

When you're writing you entry, go to the Format Menu and select "Make Link…". A box will come up. Paste the link to picture in the second box (labeled Link Location) and choose Image Address from the buttons below. Then hit the Make Link button, and the code will appear in your entry.
