The comic ...that never was.

Apr 30, 2007 22:40

Well, here's the one that I had drawn before the comic went on hold but neglected to scan for so long. I was scanning two weeks worth of homework assignments (I just caught up) and I figured, 'what the hell, why don't I scan this before it gets forgotten?'

So here it is. And yes, the resolution is different than before... I figured this way it's ( Read more... )

kitten, comic, asylum

cuteness! All of the polydactyl kitties I've met have had the most wonderful personalities. Maybe it's the thumbs-- they know they could take over the world but hey? Why bother?

And I'm sure that a name will come for him after you've spent a little more time with him... or you could go the route that my mum's boyfriend often goes-- we had cats who had perfectly reasonable names (Chickadee and Roxanne) and for him they became "MomCat" and "Miss Kitty." ... both of which stuck more than the names they'd gone through most of their little kitty lives with. Names are fluid things, but I often have trouble with coming up with names, so maybe I'm not one to talk.

Ha, Sparky is often called 'sparkit', 'boyboy', and '*sweet* boy'. (With emphasis on the 'sweet'... he's not exactly a bright one... but he is 'sweet'...)

heh. 'Pistol' made me pull my encyclopedia of pistols and revolvers off the shelf to look for nice, obscure names!

Astra... Benelli... Bersa... Coonan... CZ... Erma... Fas... Hammerli... Korth... Luger... Mauser... Mitchell... Pardini... Safari... Sako... Sphinx... Star... Steyr... Taurus... Vektor... Wildey.

how's that,/i> for a selection! *grins*

(i left out all the ones that left me going 'how the heck do you pronounce that!!' and the ones that were really bloody long.)

the comic looks good. i've missed it. i'll be looking forward to seeing the other random artwork you mentioned scanning sometime.

^_^

Now THAT's an idea! If you find more good ones... lemme know... Or perhaps I could take a peek at the book? :3

and... yey... it's been missed... eh heh...

I'll be scanning stuff at some point; it's just a matter of putting the finishing touches on things and actually sitting sown and /scanning/ them.

I wish... I took up this weekend a while back for a co-worker in exchange for her covering two days the week of my surgery. T_T

I still miss y'all.

aww kitty *SNEEZE* XD If he's siamese make sure he isn't crosseyed because those two genes are linked (I know this cuz I learned about it, and polydactyl-ness.......)
Good luck with your surgeries! Have fun watching hours of endless anime XP

Endless anime! ~<3

He's not all Siamese or anything; he's your typical mutt-kitty, with probably some Siamese mixed in.

But he's not cross-eyed as far as I can tell. Thanks for the heads-up, though.

Aww...a kitten.-smiles- It has ben so long since I have been around a kitten. My cat is a grumpy old girl, such an attitude on her. I kinda like Pistol for a name, never knew a cat with that name.-shrugs- Have fun with your kitten. :)

Thank you. ^^ I kinda liked it, too, but my family didn't seem to as much. (Darn it!)

But then again, it's my cat. ;) I'm thinking I'll take para-chan up on one of the names... I'm not sure yet; I'll need to see what name seems to best fit him when he arrives.

Kittens are friggin' adorable. And for some reason male cats seem to have a better temperment. At least in my experience.

Yeah... Out of the cats we've got now, our male cat's a very calm cat as things go, but his sister... gets spooked at everything.
