If I close my eyes really tight and eliminate all the clutter from my mind, I can still hear the soothing, almost musical sounds of the roll call vote board in the Senate chamber.

Such serenity, such passion for government.

Hey Welsby - Good to hear you've had a good day. I share the enthusiasm of being on the floor. Ha, that reminds me; I got an internship with Rep. Rick Jones for the summer. Yes, he is a Republican, but he's representing my district. Plus, I'm an independent anyway. I'm glad to hear your friend is coming home, too. And hey, everyone has days when they feel a little isolated from everyone. I just had a string of those myself. I know it sucks, but don't get discouraged. I've always found that things have a way of getting better just when I think they never will. I'll prolly see you at a College Dems meeting soon. But I haven't seen any posters yet - better get on that ;) ~ Shannon

Its good to hear that he is out of Iraq and I am glad you have a new passion that you seem to be acheiving. For what its worth I'm proud of you.
