It's been too long since I updated, so I'll start with the Netflix update. 5 movies this time (like I said, too long)
Ocean's 13 - A worthy successor to this star-studded thoroughly entertaining series. Not as good as the first of course. But entertaining non the less. I quite enjoy the idea of you messed with our friend so we're going to ruin your entire new casino. Gives the entire subject more meaning. But yes, overall it was quite fun, so much so that I soon bought it to complete the set in my own DVD collection.
Aeon Flux - It made 100 times more sense than the cartoon. Of course, 100 x 0 is still 0 so that's not saying much. Actually I did rather enjoy it as it actually did have a coherent plot that made since, quite abstract, and certainly some imaginative visuals in the style of the anime, but I did enjoy it. Charlize Theron probably helped with that.
Black Xmas - This is what I get for watching a cheap slasher movie just because I am in lust with two of the stars. Utterly horrible, quite disgusting, and not even any real good views of the afore mentioned eye-candy. Overall a very disappointing affair, especially since I was unable to eat dinner that night after seeing so many takes of people eating eyeballs.
Finding Neverland - Awesome movie. I'm man enough to admit that this movie actually made me cry. Beautifully written and wonderfully created. Once again Johnny Depp plays a character completely unlike any of his other roles, before or since. Very good movie, any who have not seen it yet, really should.
Hitch - Other than making me depressed because of how clueless I am in the ways of finding a girlfriend it was a very good movie. Funny and endearing. I tend to enjoy Will Smiths performances in the movies I see him in. And this is no exception. It also provides a little bit of hope, for all of us who may seem hopeless in the ways of the opposite sex. And you know, being funny along the way makes it all the better.
Now as for the rest of my life, not much new is going on as i've spent a total of 130 hours of the last two weeks at work. That's two weeks full of 12 hour shifts, plus a ten hour Saturday shift in the middle. So I haven't had much free time recently, obviously. In that time I have greatly increased my DVD colleciton, and am working slowly but surely towards watching all that I have added. The biggest recent addition is the complete set of Xena. For the record, I will be passing the 1000 mark in number of DVD's owned come Christmas time... I'm at 984 currently and I can tell from the shape of the presents I've gotten by mail, that I will likely up the total by at least that 16 once I open those presents up. Little else to report currently. Talk to you all soon.
