I can't get over this seemingly random quote from Daenerys II (p.321):

Oh man. I totally don't need to be volunteering to take this on, but I'm just imagining the dialogue that should have unfolded when Dany got back to the ship.

Jorah: "You're back rather earlier than expected."

Dany: "I told Kraznys mo Nakloz my bear would eat me if I didn't return."

Jorah (smirking): "I think it more likely he will eat you if you do return."

Dany (gawks for a moment): "Oh. Shall we go below, ser? I would hate for my bear to starve."

Hee! One day just_a_dram and I were talking about Jorah and the various other creepers in ASOIAF, and we made some comment about To Catch a Predator. So she made a bunch of (in)appropriate icons.

It does, and I want to, LOL. What better way to get back into the groove than a little smut? I think I'll put the Tot down for his nap and set to work on it. Have just re-read that chapter to get ready. It's perfect, because Dany comes back to the ship thinking about The Kiss!

You're right, she does think about the kiss for the rest of the chapter. Just reread it myself, and there's this other amazing part that I'd forgotten:

"Dany did not turn. She could not bear to look at him just now. If she did, she might well slap him again. Or cry. Or kiss him."

She does admit she wants to kiss him!!
