Wow, gorgeous work!

I love the text use in 1, great font choice and arrangement. The composition in 4 is really cool and creative, and I love the bright lime negative space and unusual crop in 6. 7 is brilliantly colored, so vibrant and perfect! Love the vintagey pastels and composition in 10, the coloring and contrast in 12, the crop and lighting in 14 and the blending and colorful lighting in 17.

Awesome texture use and color scheme in 21, and I really adore 30, especially what the giant M's add to the composition. Love how clear and vibrant 31 is, and the muted colors and dark shadows in 52-54 look stunning, and all three of them have wonderful subtle lighting as well.

Amazing post :)

Oh, ow, thank you!
These icons are all a bit of experiments, things I don't usually do, maybe a bit more of constrain in my usual stile, that seems to be too much in people's face.

I've got some concrit trough a elit thing I entered and I kind of wanted to see where that would go, and while I know it's not completely me, it is opening my head to other things, which is always good. I'm also going to participate in a new lims, to see if I manage to stay positive, even with what people don't like.

This is the perfect way to deal with concrit tbh - letting it give you new ideas, but not change what your style is really about!

Aw, my style is probably too much in everyone's face too, but making weird messes is so much fun!! :D good thing is though that we don't have to choose just one style, I find that a great compromise is to make some safer icons and some more experimental ones so there's something for everyone to like. So, don't let those comments discourage you!

Good luck for the LIMS! I'm not a fan of the LIMS format at all, it just feels cruel to me that just one icon that didn't work will get you eliminated, that really discourages experimenting. Hope you'll stay positive but I also totally get if you don't; it's a very cut-throat challenge type.

Yup, they are totally cut-throat, but I was thinking that maybe I was approaching it the wrong way; maybe I just need a bit of a thicker skin and the challenge can prove to be a growing experience.

I love your style! Don't change it, you do magic in little pixels and I'm very envious. I was just going to be all kind of selfish and reply to your comment to ask for some sort of tips and tricks about your coloring/or psd's if you don't have the time, because I just seem to stare at some icons and drool.

Oh, and I think I found a good comm to make graphics, landofart, that is getting me pumped to do other things besides icons! Super excited - and yes, talking my teeth off, because I still don't have someone to talk about it there.
