"It rained on my wedding day," Casey snipes, switching stations. "It was a pain in the ass. Or maybe an omen." He broods on this for some distance, then asks, "You think she knows she got it wrong?"
'She' would be Alanis, not Lisa. "I'm sure she got letters," Dan tells him.
"Huh."
More miles pass.
"You know, Lisa blamed me."
"For the rain?"
Casey shrugs; the car swerves. "Amongst other things."
"Figures," says Dan.
He has his own memories. Casey's cold feet; how he'd practically had to be dragged toward the altar. Dan had helped push.
Now, that's ironic.
