Yay! I can speak!!!! I tried to comment on this a few days ago, but my computer or the sight, wouldn't let me, and then I wrote a blog post about it and my computer crashed and I lost sooooo much and I am so sad, but, I now get to tell you:

I LOVED THIS!!! I love the original (I love everything she has done) but OMG this is great. I love what you did with it. You make me even almost want the two of them together, and I gotta say, in my world, maybe Sam would get Dana (cause, ya know, I've seen the two of them in real life, ok, the actors not the characters, and they make such a cute couple) and Dan is too in love with Casey to have anything other than an affair, but, still, this makes me love them.

Any how, just had to tell you that this was one of my favorite things I have read in a while, and I read way too much. I feel like this will now always be Sam for me.

Thank you.

I have never known anyone have as many computer problems as you and your family. But then again, I don't know anyone else who uses them quite as much, which might explain it a bit. Of course, I am madly curious about what your lost comments said, but we shall never know. In any case, I am very glad that you enjoyed this - I knew it wouldn't be most people's thing, because SN fans are very clear about what they like, and if it's not Casey and Dan bantering across the anchor desk, they don't like it. I was quite happy with it, but I had such a good foundation to work on, I couldn't go far wrong with it. Thank you so much for commenting!

(Another problem I have is that when I write a background story - like this one, or the Family Rydell, or Rebecca being a fat kid - it turns into canon for me, so when I read someone else's fic I tend to think 'No, that's wrong!' and then have to remind myself that (a) it isn't, and (b) it's only a story. I should not take these things so seriously.)
