Eh, whatever the intent behind it, the money was given. Isn't that the important thing? :/

Of course it is. I'm thankful they raised more than 30 million dollars Australia-wide.
But it's just the manner that it was done it that made me feel really annoyed. Our small shop chipped in some as well, but we didn't advertise it on telly and send out flyers to homes. How much would it have cost to run the full-page colour advert in the newspaper? Half the cost of a small home.
I'll be over it by tomorrow.

Nah, I totally get that, and it is crappy people don't do stuff for purely altruistic reasons. But I tend to be pretty end-justifies-the-means about these things.
