Knitting!

Since I haven't posted one of these updates in a while....here's what I've been knitting over the past couple months.

First, a pair of socks I made for clickdedoo, which finally arrived yesterday, so I can post pictures.

I know I've said it before, but I completely love the fact you're not one of those people who meep about how such-and-such might be "too difficult" for them to knit.

I still need to work my way up to REAL articles of clothing - like a sweater or a vest or a bolero or something - but I think I'll be there soon. I'm running out of other practical things to make!!

(Although part of me really wants to try a clapotis now, maybe white? I need to figure out what would go well with the clothes I have...)

Which scarf? The Austria one?

The bad thing about that one is that the white spots aren't really white, because the yarn was old and bled. Bah. I could go back and spot-bleach every single white row, but that would be *extremely* anal-retentive, even for me. So I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

Danke! It keeps curling at the edges, though, which is kind of annoying. But it was a really fast knit, and it's quite soft!
