A few dollars from me have been sent out to sponsor you. Give me a bit of time and I'll try to come up with a good idea.

Omg, one of those ads wants me to rinse my lady parts with Lysol to "help protect [my] married happiness."

OOOOOHHHH BOOKBINDING.

If I had any money I would be all over the classes as the Minnesota Center for Book Arts. But, no money. *pouts*

Those ads ... wow. Obviously anything that goes wrong in any marriage is the woman's fault; how could I have forgotten? And if I don't do what he wants, I deserve to be spanked, while if I comply with his every whim I'm offering myself up (as well I should!) to be walked upon like a rug.

What's scary is that so many of these attitudes are still so prevalent; they're just more subtle, less conscious, perhaps harder to fight than they'd be if they were right out in the open.

YAY BOOKBINDING!! <3 <3

I hate to say it, but the prices on the Paris Market stuff (I looked; I was curious) actually seem on the very low end. Maybe I've too quickly adjusted to NYC prices for everything, but the Bed Bath & Beyond next to my office is pricier for most of that stuff. And I've seen too many $13,000 coffee tables.
