Seriously, Sean's school district sounds so similar to the school district here. We also do the 'early release once a month' thing. I remember hating it even as a child; each of the day's classes was shortened by like ten minutes, which gave us less in class homework time. Also, I always have been a creature of habit; I hate having my schedule disrupted.

It wasn't until after I graduated that I thought about how annoying and inconvenient it must be for parents.
