Aww! I adore these guys -- they make me smile, most zenfully.
Unrelated but on my mind: is it hard to knit with double pointed needles? I need to knit myself fingerless gloves. My hands are *freezing* when I try to type...
yay. <3 i'm glad they make you smile, twinniest. DPNs aren't hard - you just knit to the end of one needle and then turn a little and knit to the end of the next one. It's like straight knitting with corners. <3 youtube might have some videos (or you could always use small circulars? i know you can get 12 inch circs, you might have to look online ...)
This means a visit to the yarn store, HURRAY! I haven't had an excuse to go there in ages. Of course, we only have one yarn store in this one-Starbucks town. Mama needs a new pair of mittens!
I worked on my shrug this weekend AND NED GOT INTO IT AND TORE UP 8 INCHES WORTH. The only reason you didn't hear the scream from where you live is that it was at the newly knitted end. If he had done it at the beginning... that would have been an entire summer's work!
AUGH NED!!!! clearly ned needs ... something else that is more interesting than playing in knitting is. Sadly I have no clue what that is, but i'm putting my people to work on it (i'll watch the cats) neko likes paper bags ...

I love them too. Even Rou, with his eagerness to please and his floppy hair.

I was hoping someone would get that - I spent ten minutes trying to figure out what they would call Coma Guy.
