PT was amusing - I got to play with various types of wheelchairs. I am incapable of steering motorized ones in a straight line. (No, really, I am. I look drunk, it's hilarious.) Next week I get to try more of them and I get to fool around outside as well as inside ( Read more... )

Again, may I suggest the use of a cabana boy/girl to drive you around?

Chai with a shot of espresso? Maybe that's what *I* need right now. Stupid Celexa is giving me that horrid woolly-headedness. Probably because I have a tiny brain these things hit me hard.

I think I will do some Greek this afternoon, and perhaps make scones. That combination always cheers me up.

House fic in the making! He'd be awesome on a manual, but deadly to pedestrians on a motorized. ;)

*hugs*

We had a patient lose control of her automatic wheelchair and squish our tech in the preliminary room once. It was hilarious.

I would love to see you drive one of those wheelchairs, as long as you wouldn't mind me giggling. ;)

And yay for the good bits. That chai sounds yummy. =)

It's a really amazing combination. I think there may be a shot of chocolate syrup in it too. They call it a 'Hail Mary' for reasons I have yet to figure out.
And I was giggling. So you giggling would be fine. I just about ran over my physical therapist. (Of course it was her fault, she turned up the speed on purpose. *laugh*)

I think I'd be the same way. I'd need something manual. Otherwise it could be good fodder for fics. :) I'm okish. I feel kind of funny after the ativan, not sure if that is normal.... and my head kind of hurts but I don't think my body is ready for more drugs right now. I think that was set off by something in the grocery store which made me start sneezing off and on.

Also, mmmmmm chai. :)

I can't use a manual because there are way too many hills in this city and (in my therapist's words) I don't bend in half. (My muscles are overly spastic and very cranky about bending.)
I don't take ativan, but my girlfriend does, and that sounds pretty normal from what I've heard (the kind of funny foggy thing). I use clonazepam, which has a similar effect. <3 <3 Ugh, headaches suck. *hughug* <3

That sucks. Hills suck, especially.

I felt better after I had something to drink and woke up a bit. :)
