Hey, that's great! Ron wants to know, has Sean's school tried any type of modified PECS system? For instance, have they tried it with texture or raised symbols? If they haven't do you think it would have any benefit? He is curious because if he encounters other kids similar to Sean, he wants to know if that would be beneficial.

I think that's what they MAY be trying, I'm not sure? I have to call a conference and I'll find out for sure. I think he's still working on the connection between symbol --> thing, in that case, if that's what they're doing? If he figures that out he'll probably take to it, but I don't know if he's made the connection yet.
