Transformers were a pretty big hit with me as a kid too. I was also in jr High and had an army of minicons.

Megatron was my first "big bot" toy, though really I always wanted Prime. My next bigger transformer was HotRod. Now THAT was cool. My parents got it for me because my name is Rodney... makes sense. He was my instant favourite.

Everyone made fun of me while they toted their Soundwaves, Starscreams and Optimus Prime toys. I had a measly HotRod.

Well I got the last laugh when that movie came out.

My parents upgraded my toy after that too.

I often think it would be hella fun to design games based on cool geek stuff. I see Fantasy Flight cranking out all those great licensed games and I'm just a little jealous. :)

My big childhood toys were Star Wars and G.I. Joe. They'd often have wars in my backyard.
