Ha! That would have made a good name.

As it happens, the other is named Fry. Fry is orange and outgoing and kind of stupid, while Kif is shy and small and, um, dressed in a uniform.

If Fry had looked more like a velour fog, then he would have been named Zap.

(BTW: One of my favorite lines is "I am the man with no name--Zap Brannigan.")

For some reason, I'm imagining future archeologists uncovering all of these lolcats in the way we currently find statues from the ancient world, and they will wonder why on earth we chose this fashion to immortalize and worship our feline friends.
