you see, i thought paul was making a statement about the wasteful use of the world's computing resources by those silly meme sites when all he really wanted was a picture of some posh noble chap with a ridiculous name.

i mean, what other reason could he have had for posting the raw html whilst using an icon saying "image coming soon"?

You know, I can see the logic in that. Except, he's been using the "image coming soon!" icon for... well, at least as long as I've known him.

It occurs to me that he might have actually been using the rich text thing when he pasted the url. The rich text thing would have made it into raw html, since it can't handle tags not put in with the litle html maker buttons.

But really, I like your story better.
