I've watched all the recent movies now, and taken a look around the fandom (mostly by poking around the AO3 tags, since it seems to be fairly centred there) and I have thoughts.

Welcome! I will see if I can wrangle up some recs for you, but genfic -- that's tough.

Aside from AO3, the other big gathering place for Avengers movie fandom is the kinkmeme. Same with the other recent Marvel movies.

Also, if you read much Avengers fic, especially fic that originated on the kinkmeme, you may notice a tendency to cross it over with X-Men, especially the recent X-Men movie. Yes, this deliberately screws up the timelines. No, we don't care.

And did you know that Coulson starred in two short films, that were released as extras on the Thor and Captain America blu-rays?

Genfic does seem to be thin on the ground. I'm just far too comfy here in my own fandom where the main kind of fic is plain canon-compliant stuff, and it's what I like best ;-).

Yes, I did see those two short films, and they were great! Especially the petrol station one. Excellent badassery.

I haven't seen the X-men movie yet, though it's on my rental list, so at some point it will show up.

So I didn't care about Bruce one way or another until I actually saw The Avengers, and then I was like, Bruce and Tony: Science Bros! And apparently the fandom is agreeing with me, because post-movie I am finding all kinds of lovely Bruce fic, and this series, which I have only read the first fic of, but it looks like Bruce and Tony friendship, with background Bruce/Betty and Tony/Pepper. http://archiveofourown.org/series/17981 Ensemble cast, some h/c, I believe this may be exactly what you ordered, or at least it says so on the box. (I hope the content matches the box.)

Thanks for the rec! This fandom is moving too fast for me to find the good fics right now, though I have been amused by the kinkmeme, which also has some lovely Bruce prompts and fics. It makes me happy to see that everyone likes my favourite character now :-).
