I seem to be writing lots this week. After the two serious fics, have a bit of plotless crackfic.

Title: Rescue Procedures
Length: 500 words
Content: implied threesome. Dr Who crossover. Crack.
Summary: Aral is rescued from alien kidnappers by two dashing soldiers.

*Laughing in glee.* Of course Aral should get kidnapped by space aliens more often! And of course River is Cordelia turned up about twenty degrees! And I've wanted to see Aral/River for ages and ages, so I love this.

One of my first thoughts with River (after 'oh, wow, I'm in love') was that Aral would find her pretty irresistible.

The great thing about Dr Who is that the plots don't have to make more than a little bit of sense. Aral getting kidnapped by space aliens is a perfectly good idea that should be used more in fic ;-) ... I read one where Daleks interrupted Laisa and Gregor's honeymoon, too.

I have been wanting fic with Cordelia and River for ages. I tried to write it for you, actually, for Fandom Stocking last year, but it just didn't work. You did such an awesome job with them here - I really enjoyed it!

I'm glad you liked it! It was a little inspired by that prompt, and also inspired by the fact that I've been wanting to write Aral as the damsel in distress for a while ;-).
