Aral: Not To Be Trusted Around Lots of Alcohol (Aral, your Da used to ply them with the good stuff, but he had the sense not to drink that much, since he too had to be at the vote tomorrow).

And Alys being so pragmatic about the situation. "Fine, you can stay here. But only because we don't want to lose the vote after all that hard work due to a sex scandal."

Ah well, Aral was in a tough place with not wanting to offend Count Vorvayne. And I feel sure Alys would be pragmatic about it - she's always struck me as very level-headed woman at core :-).
