I wrote something! Looking at AO3, this is the first non-exchange fic I've posted since November 2014. And with all those bingo cards, instead I write a fic that has nothing to do with any of the prompts and is instead entirely the fault of both of my boys. I had read and loved this when you posted it, while I was traveling on holiday, but didn't have a chance to g back and comment until now:

Cordelia wondered whether there were any more degrees of emphasis for Miles to discover.

Heh. Having had a very dramatic five-year-old -- though probably not quite so dramatic as Miles, thank goodness -- this was so true to life. :D

I love the way your write young Miles (he is so very FIVE here), and his harried parents, and Simon is very lovely here.

So good to be able to read your writing again!

Well, I have a four-and-a-half-year-old right now (as he proclaims to anyone in range) so it's pretty easy to draw from life in writing a 5yo, and as I said on DW, this was based on a real incident involving a disassembled toy helicopter and me not having photographic recall of where all the bits went. Lacking Illyan, the drama went on a lot longer here ;-). But it turned into a story, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
