I wrote two Rivers of London fics for Trick or Treat, both for the lovely linndechir who wrote a letter full of excellent plot bunnies. They are:

Title: Longhouse
Content: Peter/Nightingale, casefic, h/c, haunted houses
Length: 17,000 words
Summary: On a case outside of London, Peter and Nightingale face danger, death and architecture.

Heh. Didn't participate in the fest but happily read bits of it, and I am getting good at identifying your fics at a glance, although I wasn't sure about "Longhouse." Both lovely--not sure that's the right considering the fest theme, but highly enjoyable. I have quite a backlog of enthusiastic comments to be left here and there on your writing...for the moment, please at least take it that the enthusiasm is going your way!

I expect my title/summary combinations are fairly recognisable, since I'm mostly bad at both of them ;-). Every so often I get a flash of inspiration for either, but mostly it's a last-minute panic. Anyhow, I'm glad you're enjoying reading :-D

I just wanted to thank you again for writing those two beautiful fics for me. I really can't tell you enough how much I appreciated both of them. I reread them today on a train ride (I had planned to read Foxglove Summer on the train, but of course I read that immediately on Saturday after buying it, sooooo fic reread it was :D) and they're both absolutely wonderful. I really hit the exchange jackpot with Trick or Treat. Thank you!

Of course I'm also very happy that you liked my fic, too, thanks for reccing it. :)

You were a great recipient! I was tickled to death to see hamsterwoman in the comments of your letter reccing my fic to you, though, that made me laugh and also made me optimistic that I could write something that was to your taste.

I've just stormed through Foxglove Summer at last and am completely thrilled with it even with the relative shortage of Nightingale. So much backstory, though! And so so much Peter, I didn't think it was possible to make me love Peter more and the book did it.

I have actually read a lot of your fics, I need to go on a comment spree one of these days. I hate not leaving appropriately long comments, and then I end up leaving no comments at all when I'm in a hurry. ;)

I will head over to your Foxglove Summer post now because I wouldn't want to spoil anyone here accidentally. I've been desperate to talk to someone about it since I finished it.
