Today was the kind of workday that nearly had me crying. Again. And I don't even want to know what my blood pressure was during most the day. But I sucked it up and made it through. Stubbornness versus stress

I'm so sorry you had such a hard day. I wish you worked with me or at least in the same environment I do. *hugs*
Cumberbatch is a slightly weird looking dude, I think, but he has one hell of a soothing voice. I nearly fell asleep listening to that. Very nice, indeed.
Me too. Together, we would rule the lab. Or something.

I suppose he is a bit odd looking, but once you see him in action... his talent increases his attractiveness, imo. I love his reading of the last line -- faded and weary and a bit unsure, just like I think Keats intended.
He has slightly odd facial proportions. Some photos he looks fine and some slightly odd. *nods* Talent always increases attractiveness. I gotta be honest I didn't even really listen to the words I was so hypnotized by his voice. I need to read the poem and then listen to it again I think and not when I'm already tired.
Everyone would bow before us! They would handle the pee and stool samples for us! Mwahahaa-a, err, cough.
He does, but then many of the people I've found attractive have odd features or don't fit the general consensus of what constitutes good looks (thinking back to Dom, or now Noel). I think the hair makes a difference too. I love his deep brunet, longer Sherlock hair. But when he's blond (the darker version of which is, I think, his natural color) it throws me off. Heh, I've read the poem so many times, the words kind of fell away too.
I'm so sorry to hear today was so rough, Beth. :( Those sort of days where you are frustrated/stressed to the point of tears suck. But good for you for perservering! I've always believed perserverence is a sign of strength. *hugs*
Thanks for the link to Benedict reading "Ode to a Nightingale." I love Keats too! Especially his poem "To Autumn."
How awesome that Benedict is the voice of Smaug in the upcoming Hobbit film! I did not know that. :)
Yep! Apparently, he'll also be voicing the Necromancer, though I'm not sure how that will work. The character was unseen/unheard in the book, wasn't he?

Benedict should read "To Autumn" as well. Actually, he should just read everything ever. :) Speaking of, he also does a charming reading of "Jabberwocky."
