Hope you're all good. I haven't kept up with LJ very well lately.

Just got back yesterday from a little trip to Georgia to visit soultoad and see Toad the Wet Sprocket in Atlanta.

Thursday, I got to cuddle the most adorable puppy named Carmen while working a table at Save A Pet's fundraising event called Noodles For Poodles. Save A Pet raised an ( Read more... )

Haven't been keeping up on LJ either, but I'm glad you and Rosie had a fab time.

Hey doll!

It was really nice to get out of Dodge for a bit and see friends again. :)

I'm into the Boosh! Well, I love the show. I don't go in for the live stuff because it's one of those things where people turn up and cheer after they say famous lines which I really hate.

Yay! That does sound annoying. I got a bit of secondhand embarrassment watching the documentaries of their live shows, what with the Beatlemania levels of crying and car-crowding. I mean, seriously? It's cute how the fans dress up though.

Ahhh, you wrote a much better review than I just did. Mine is hurried and spacey. No excuses other than, yep, I'm still sick. Did you get sick? I really, really hope not, especially after Rick did the ol' glass-switcheroo on us accidentally...he's still feeling bad about that. So, please don't get sick!!

Those pictures are crap. The ones I took in '09 are better, but this year's remind me that THEY'RE BACK! :)

Carmen hasn't been adopted yet so apparently the woman changed her mind. :( It's killing me.

Damn, that is one tenacious cold. :/ No, I haven't gotten sick yet. I did feel run down earlier in the week (and today, but that's from a lovely migraine), but took some Zicam cold remedy which seemed to help. Tell Ricky not to worry; it was an easy mistake. *sends you healing vibes*

As a document of the experience, those pictures are plenty good (and if I'd been able to take any, they'd probably be worse, so...). Btw, I found one video so far from our show: Friendly Fire.

Aw, I'm sorry to hear about Carmen. I wish you could take her. It's surprising she hasn't been snatched up yet, a beautiful puppy like her.

Just got email from Pat, the woman is supposed to call Janet about adopting Carmen!!! Wooohoooo!!!

Thanks for the link...I've been trying to watch Scott's FB page to see if he posts any of his but haven't seen any so far. Jennifer and Ted have some fun stuff on their page...today he posted "happy Toad day" spelled out in Cheerios. :)

I'm so glad you aren't sick!! This has been the toughest cold I can remember.

YAY!!! She better send lots of pictures. :)

Hee, cute. Please let me know if he does post the videos (assuming he posts them publicly).

It sounds like the cold that won't die. Evil ass germs. I'm not sure if it's too late into your cold, but if you can take Zicam Cold Remedy it might be worth a shot. It's mostly just zinc, but it's worked well for me on several occasions.

It was a brilliant concert... wish you could have been there! Aw, I'm sorry you won't be able to see them this time. But it sounds like there will be lots more Toad on the horizon, so hopefully they'll be back in FL another time when you can see them. :) It would be awesome if we could meet up for a Toad show one day. *crosses fingers*

He wears 40 so very well! :)

*sending lots of hugs and love your way*
