Oh HELL no.

According to USA Today, the final three episodes of Pushing Daisies will not air until THE SUMMER. *fishmouths* Please let that be incorrect. A misprint! A hallucination!

I never thought it was possible, but I now hate ABC more than I hate the CW.

Unrelatedly: Does anyone have "Every Day Is Exactly The Same" by Nine Inch Nails?

NOT UNTIL THE SUMMER, WTF?????

I'll look for the NIN's song, I may have it.

First the cancellation, now this. It's like they're playing a multi-part, cruel joke on the fans.

Thank you! I'd appreciate it immensely. :)

As someone in one of the comms said, it's like they're kicking us when we're already down. I hope USA Today's information is incorrect. January is usually a slow time anyway, with most shows trickling back in from holiday hiatus and it not yet being February sweeps. Unless they plan on rerunning the entire second season in the summer, it makes so sense to push it that far off. :(

O_o Are you fucking kidding me?!

How in the HELL does that make ANY sense whatsoever? Just air them in January, instead of making us suffer like this! As if it isn't bad enough the show is cancelled. >_< ABC, you are twisted. Honestly, I think this is just another way for them to say that we're not going to see the last three episodes air at all.

I think you're absolutely right about that. I mean, by that point, the producers/creators of the show should have the dvd package put together if not already in production. So what's the point? ABC is probably just going to keep pushing it off, offering vague time tables but no set dates until they think we'll forget about it. Thanks for dicking us around some more, ABC. Fucktards. I'm really glad there aren't any other shows on that network that I watch anymore. Not that my viewership has any influence on the network's ratings, but it gives me peace of mind knowing they won't have my "business."

Seriously. It seems like ABC can't wait to be done with Pushing Daisies, so why not just air the last three episodes in January and get it over with? At least that would give the fans some kind of closure. It's hard enough that the show's been cancelled, let alone prolonging the disappointment like this. :/ So that's why I can only assume that ABC is probably not going to air the episodes at all and we're going to have to wait for the DVDs. *sigh*

The only other ABC show I watch is Lost, but obviously, my enthusiasm for that show has dwindled. Watching Lost has felt more like a chore than entertainment since about season two, so I think I'm okay with not watching it anymore.

Right. *nods firmly* It seems like the most logical scenario. But apparently ABC isn't a fan of logic...? Feh. And yet I think I saw something at the_piehole about a new episode possibly airing on the 28th. Man, enough with jerking us around. >_< I wish ABC would just commit to something.

I could not agree more. After last season, I just don't have the energy to go through with it anymore. Don't think any show has ever been that disappointing.
