I am with you on the redneck nutjob. I feel sorry for the daughter who is frankly acting like any teenager on the planet and seriously creeped out by the notion that the "online community" is actually supportive of a father whose notion of appropriate response to a teenager acting out on Facebook is so abusive (because to my mind destroying someone's things as punishment is symbolic, and intended to demonstrate their ability to harm the person).
