A scene from Eddie Murphy's upcoming movie, Norbit, has Mouf spitting mad. As per usual Murphy is playing more than one role. This time around he has a duel role as Norbit and the EXTREMELY full sized "female" that is crushing on him, literally ( Read more... )

Everytime I see a commercial for that movie I'm irritated. These movies keep getting more and more stupid. Sadly, I know quite a few people who are looking forward to seeing it. *rollseyes*

Imagine how other women of large size will feel about this movie? Hopefully it works in Eddie's favor, any publicity being good, but I can see this backfiring. The usual, fat people are the only people you can make fun of these days bullshit crybaby stories.

Why? And so what? People make fun of other people, that's the nature of people. When we've stopped making fun of other people, thats' when we'll know we don't have a true society, but one afraid of offending others to a point that we can't even talk. of course there is validity to complaints, but everyone makes fun of everyone else. Why is that so bad?

Why what? Why do they have validity? I think you're intelligent enough to know the answer to that yourself.

Just because something is done, doesn't mean it should be nor does it mean it's the right thing to do. It just is. I feel sad that you think making fun of people makes a society. That is disturbing.

Everyone absolutely does not make fun of everyone else. And who the hell mentioned anything about "being afraid to offend others?" Whatever arguement you're having, you're having it on your own. I'm not part of the pc police. never have been. never will be. Save it for when you run across one.

I've seen many a trailer for this movie and that's the only scene that's remotely funny.

I was disappointed with Eddie though, he went from critical acclaim for Dreamgirls to this mess catering to the lowest common denominator....i've always wanted to use that term.

unfortunately, murphy enjoys pandering to the lowest common denominator. he's prostitute. as long as the price is right, he'll bend over. perhaps he thinks this is his big mama's house. he's wrong.

i wondered if he made this prior to dreamgirls and if he has been on the shelf for a while. it could be the success of dreamgirls prompted a studio to release it. however, even if that is true, the dumb ho actually made it.
