Don't know if I should be posting this here or on personal LJ...

But I thought I should just drop in and say that I'm sorry for the long time between updates. It seems redundant to keep saying that life is busy but I guess it would be best to say that I'm just in general poorly organized and I have very little structure in my life which eventually leads to bouts of chaos and tiredness. But it's really my fault. ( Read more... )

That's fine! Take your time updating, Forever & Ever is so worth it! ^^
As for my fav character I really like D! I've never read a fic with a foreign character like him. And he and Kai are so cute together!
I'm dying to find out what will happen when he leaves for America....

Thank you~

See that's what I mean by surprising favorite characters! I didn't think anyone would say D but I'm really happy you do like him ^^; He is a bit different but I guess it's in my nature to write something a bit different. XD

I'm fine with it. :) I knew that you had a lot going on,anyways. I have been reading the updates, I'm just not often a talker/commenter kind of person. I really love this story. I'm also ready to find what will happen between D and kai or where Ruki stands with reita now even though he's now with Fuwa...

No need to comment on everything. I can imagine that one might run out of things to say or not know what to say. XD

I'm writing that stuff right now so hopefully it won't disappoint. :)

I think I have the tendency to apologize because I used to be so good about updating. There was new post everyday at the same time but I think I overestimated myself. The posts since I don't copy and paste them directly from Word, are longer now. They used to be 7 pages in word and now they are 9-10. I think that's better though because I can imagine that it felt somewhat short ( ... )

That's true, you never know until you try! I have to admit, I used to be rigid about my ships. For Gazette, I was really only an Aoi/Uruha shipper. But the more I write, the more I can see other pairings. But to be honest, I don't know if I could pair Aoi or Uruha with someone else! I'm not there yet! LOL

To answer your question, I'd have to say my favorite is Uruha. Mostly because I often don't know if I should laugh or be weirded out by the things he says and does. I loved when everyone else thought that van was a piece of crap, he thought it was so "heavy metal". And his advice to Reita earlier on was hilarious. I love his weird moments.

I find Uruha to be a stranngeeee dude in real life to be honest. But a cute one nonetheless. ^-^ He's a very interesting character and at first, the hardest for me to write. The most difficult scene for me to write was his one on one with Fuwa back in Miseinen ^^; But I what I love about him is here you have this extremely beautiful and talented man and yet, he is the most socially awkward individual, he hunches over, stares at people as they talk, says weird things at weird times, I think it makes him charming and different. :)

I agree with you completely. I like that he's a bit different that what you'd expect, and you never really know what he's thinking or what he's going to do. He's very unpredictable. Now, if you expect him to do the unexpected, would the unexpected become expected? Hmmm...

As for my favorite character it' so hard to pick one since you write in a way that makes all of them interesting from some point of view. Btw I think that's why every chapter or part of a chapter feels interesting to read. Even if I'm an Aoi/Uruha fan I'm never bored by the parts about for example Ruki and Fuwa. If I had to choose I'd choose Aoi (but that's just because I'm such a fangirl for him). I have fond memories of Kuramoto from the Miseinen days as well, such a sweet man! (^-^)

As much as I started to read Miseinen because of the pairing I'd say that the pairing is not that important to me. But it's hard to search for fanfic on other criteria. I read the oneshot you wrote a while ago and I'd definitely read other stories by you even if the main pairing is not Aoi/Uruha.

It is hard to find fanfic from other sorts of criteria...Someone should probably set up a comedy jrock fanfic or something else like that. There probably is one and I just don't know about though.

Kuramoto! He was a sweet old man. ^^ Funny too. When I think of him, I remember him reciting that monkey poem to Aoi. LOL

So you read Stranger in a Strange Land! I didn't think a lot of people read that one. It was somewhat bizarre considering the writing style.... If I fulfill requests, I'll probably just end up writing Aoi/Uruha or Reita/Ruki or maybe something between my OCs since I've gotten requests for Fuwa/Isao ones. But we shall see! Forever & Ever is one longggggggg fic and even though I thought I'd be done by now, there is just so. many. characters. XDDD

I don't think the writing style in Stranger... was too bizarre. I really liked that it had a lot of atmosphere. And, this might sound weird, but the reason I didn't comment was that I didn't want to steal the spot when the story was written as a gift to somebody else. m(..)m Sorry ( ... )
