~Five Senses, No Sense~
Disclaimer: I do not own them. I own little more than a boatload of clothes and an 8-year-old mini-van. None of which would so you any good, Misters Sorkin and Wells.
Pairing: Josh and Margaret
Rating: Implied R
Summary: He was a substitute.
AN: This came from a conversation with Lynn. I was explaining why I like J/M and this came out.

Her hand caressed his cheek and he smelt the lingering scent of coffee.

She had told him once that she could make up to 12 pots of coffee on a bad day. He had asked if she meant a bad workday or a bad day for Leo. She hadn't answered, merely kissed him and straddled his lap.

Her thumb traced his lip and he sucked it into his mouth, tasting the ink stain.

She had told him once that she preferred to write with a fountain pen she'd been given. He had asked her who gave her the pen. She hadn't answered, merely kissed him and lead him to her bedroom.

Her fingers worked across his brow and he saw the small scar on her index finger.

She had told him once that she had cut herself on broken glass. He had asked her if she had broken the glass as dramatically as he had. She hadn't answered, merely kissed him and lowered them both to the floor.

Her arm wrapped around him and he felt the muscles under her skin.

She had told him once that she would get cramps from writing and typing all day. He had asked her how she got rid of them. She hadn't answered, merely kissed him and lead him to the shower.

Her mouth opened and he hears the need in her voice.

She had told him once that sometimes he talked to her the same way Leo talked to her. He had asked her if that was why she slept with him. She hadn't answered, merely slapped him and crawled out of his bed.

His senses told him he was a substitute. His mind told him she was in love with another.

His body did not care. He asked her no questions and expected no answers. Merely kissed her and carried her to his bed.
