I watched Kamikaze Girls last week. I was struck by the character of Himiko in the story-within-the-story, & how her story affects the main characters. I like that kind of myth-building, & it's neat to see it as affecting one's reality.
Though of course it's all unreality anyway. :(

And yeah, Himiko was an incredible twist; an urban legend that people just began assuming was real. I'm not sure if Nobara was trying to satirize how quickly people start believing things, but it cracked me up--especially when Ichigo started getting offended Momoko didn't believe her fake story. ^_^
