I was wondering why the new portable HDD I borrowed from the office kept giving me trouble when I attempted to connect it to my computer

Aiyah, the HDD wasn't connected to the USB housing at all. That's why it was rattling when I shook it. Should have been connected to the pins on the side and if it's connected, there shouldn't be any sound at all.

Heng I never spolit the HDD by all the shaking I did!
