Ok, sorry to rant, but is it really so unreasonable for me, the about-to-be birthday person, to ask if I can move the dinner to a lunch or to another night so that we can at least invite CR and RR, and I can pretend like I have more than two friends?

Kimmmmm! We had to do a dinner on saturday night to throw you off and make you think that nothing else was going on. I am sad that you didnt post that there was a lovely brunch in your honor Sunday morning that was a suprise. Anyways, I love you and your writing is amazing and I enjoyed reading it even though I know you wanted to keep it a secret!

And so you found me! I told you there were some crazy "inner truths"! Anyway about this post, I wrote on Friday, before the fabulous surprise, right after the infamous "kick," when I had no idea what the hell was going on. I had a fabulous birthday and a wonderful birthday dinner with my two amazing girls, and a great brunch the day after. I guess I didn't even realize that I had omitted that part from this journal.
