i love julie & julia. and she did make some ground over the year, not all of us can manage the leaps and bounds of others [*smiles*] i'm sure she has had many adventures in the past 8 years.

ok she did do lots of insane and amazing things... but there was all that angst and then bam! movie done. now here eric did sooth somewhat but visiting the kitchen did not resolve it all for me.

sorry i project that all people should leap and totally transform. it's my aquarian nature... amongst other things.

chaos adores you and is looking forward to long nailed scritches from you.

i loved where she ended up and what she learned, but i'm still wallowing around at 46, so i guess i completely empathise with not growing in quite the leaps and bounds of the more advanced [*shrugs*]

you are right of course.. for one it is remarkable that finishing happened and that people found her online and cheered her on. also that her mum came round to the support side.

it's all miraculous. i guess what i felt at the end of the movie was an abruptness, she did it weird phone call cut. a crap! we have filmed 2+ hours and we are stopping this now. so it jarred me and i forgot about all the awesomeness and accomplishments due to that last 5 minutes.

poor editing choice as it ripped me out of the storey and threw cold water on me and made me feel and yuck instead of the joy i felt throughout the movie.
