Technically, Misery should be capitalized in "Is this some kind of Misery thing?"

Personally, I think my absolute favorite references were all the lit and writer stuff. Not necessarily specific to SPN or fans or anything, but the Misery thing, the Vonnegut talk, M. Knight, living bad writing, taking a second pass, and of course: "Writing is hard!"

And of course, the writing itself: the stuff Chuck reads out as the boys approach his door is total crap. "Fiery demonic passion" is giggle-worthy. But the crows' wings tarp and some of the other bits and bobs we got to hear was actually not bad at all. Kind of makes me wonder what the books themselves would have read like. . . .

Ah yes, so it should be, good catch. I sometimes take notes as I watch for the poll, so I am typing fast! I must have missed that!

I enjoyed the refs to bad writing and having to live through it. I wonder if there will ever be tie in Winchester Chronicles we can read ;)

I recognized Chuck Rob Benedict from Threshold, but he was in a couple episodes of Buffy as well.

And yeah, Simpatico is from TWoP. She was (is?) one of the more negative people who post there.

There are not enough ticky boxes to express my love of Dean by the soda machines! Seriously!

I think - speaking to my church nerd sister - Zachariah was not an archangel. He was actually a prophet himself, apparently bumped up to angel status by Kripke. The archangels are Michael, Gabriel, Rafael and Uriel (whoops, not anymore!) At least in lore (<-- Hee! "lore") those are the four archangels, but with Kripke demoting Uriel to one of Castiel's "garrison" I guess Zach could be an archangel at this point.

Dean by the soda machine was awesome! And ahhhhhhhhhhh so Zachariah is an angel and of course, Michael, Gabriel etc are the big ones ;) Hmm. I guess I am just nitpicking the archangels protect Chuck thing - they can allow another angel to threaten him maybe ;)
