if everything in the past has already happened why didnt Desmond remember until that moment?

what if people run into themselves in the past as they jump back in time?

IT HURTS MY BRAIN TOO. OMG. I can't take it! How will they get back? Will Dan or Dan's Mom rather have to help them? And she seemed to be in charge of Ben whoever she was.

Sun is suspicious. I am suspicious. She wants to kill ben. I am not sure she doesn't blame Kate for Jin, I don't konw I bought tha t whole speech.

And ACK TIME HURTS BRAIN. I assume Dan could meet Des in the hatch cos.. well i forget when Dan and Des first met on the island but I assume the Des is Dan's constant thing meant they could meet. And why did Des just remember, that was... it was clever the way they did it, like a memory coming back but also yeah, the second it happened it's there as a memory - that's why Sawyer couldn't meet Des, cos when Des first came out the hatch he didn't know Sawyer.

There's lots of it to stare at! Sawyer with no shirt on. Jack with no beard! Des being awesome. Daniel being clever. Sayid being all hot and throwing people off things!
