You all know I love "Chuck" and I will advocate for the survival of the show until the end. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed by last night's episode.

Or - how hard would it have been to include a "kill you with my brain" reference? It would've at least been in character for Jeffster if not Summer's Greta.

I cannot tell you how much I ADORED that "just a show" line on Castle. PERFECT. Simple and Sweet for those in the know. :)

I was frustrated and whiny re: Chuck all through "Lie to Me" but "Castle" had my full attention and that line - I burst out laughing.

I was discussing this with B while watching Chuck last night and even he thought it was dumb for them not to take advantage of the niche fanbase, especially given that they have proven they can do it and have done it before.

See, PTB? Even non-fannish peeps like the occasional in-joke!!!

I think the great thing about the Castle joke is that if you knew it, you laughed. If you didn't, well, you could still appreciate it and you wouldn't be sitting there scratching your head in confusion. It CAN be done!
