I can't believe he did that. They are necessary to the "sequel's" plot. Even if they don't have Sokka and Suki hook up (RAEG) they'd still need them for Azula to sneak into the Earth Kingdom.

I can understand why he took some stuff out, but, really? He did a shitty job of picking which pieces to keep.
