Jeremie had been on his way to see if he could locate one of the main terminals for the computer, thinking that possibly going directly to the source would allow him better access. He glanced about, one corridor blending into the next.

"Great. Now I'm lost." He lifted his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

He reached out to one of the wall panels, sliding information about on the screens as he attempted to access the map again as he'd done in the past. He didn't even notice the young man exiting one of the doors.

The gym was indeed very spacious and interesting. He wasn't too sure about living up to the promise he just made to the robot though. Bewildered Dexter wasn't even sure as to how long he would be staying here.

Upon exiting, he stopped and watched a skinny looking teenage boy wearing glasses walk by. He was looking rather distracted, and working on something, pressing buttons and viewing what looked to a map of this Niven Ring.

Calmly, he worked the muscles in his face to smile a little. "Hi," he said to the kid, moving to stand beside him. Dexter wasn't very loud or soft in tone of voice, in which was good. He certainly wanted to be less confused, at least a little. So, maybe the boy could help him? In addition, there was curiosity as to why this boy was walking through a large place that looked like a science fiction movie or TV set.

Some short and to the point questions about him fluttered about over his failure to rationalize successfully about this Niven Ring. Is he the only other person besides myself? He looks like he knows ( ... )

Jeremie jerked to alertness at the stranger's voice, turning around to face its owner. His face was serious even as he took in the stranger's smiling face.

"A couple of weeks, maximum," he answered to the other male's question. He started to turn back to the screen, pausing halfway. "I'm guessing you're new or just lost like I am. Either way, this place is huge."

He lifted a hand to tap at the controls of the map, flicking his eyes back and forth to watch the screen and the stranger. He'd done a lot more socializing in the past two weeks than he had since he'd left the Lyoko Warriors. It was kind of unnerving. Must've been the lack of practice.

"Two weeks? Wow." In fact, he was actually just a little surprised there. To add onto it, he adjusted his tone so that it would sound a bit bashful. "I've only just arrived here."

For a moment he watched the kid work at the map like a pro. "Must be pretty big, yeah," Dexter said, easily slipping into the motions of what to say and how to react. If he were an actor on stage, he'd be sure to win awards. Ah, but alas...he already had his hands full as of now, let alone what he has going for him back home; family, working with the Homicide Bureau, his girlfriend, and especially his darker deeds.
