Summery: Reports are coming in regarding a break out of spontaneous suicides all over town.
Note: The effect happens to effect only a select group of people. If you choose to be one of those people, You will either be severely injured in need of surgery. This is pretty much like the movie "the Happening" only not random and a bit more malicious. (It is also unlikely to effect you if you are younger then the age of 35)
The first subject died at 05:12 am in a small apartment development in the heart of New York. The man was shaving while listening to the morning report on National Public Radio when he stopped what he was doing and stared at himself in the mirror. His eyes dilated and he shook uncontrollably as his thought patterns dissipated and fixated on only his deep rooted insecurities. It was only moments that he saw the scissors in the cabinet that he slowly took and examined. His wife, only just waking, sat up to look at him, rubbing her eyes and snapping awake once she saw the blade thrust into his eye, the blood splurting out.
Oddly enough, it wasn't long until she had the same pair of scissors cut deep into her throat.
They were discovered along with a third body of their neighbor who had called the police hours before. The room, that had once been alive with the sounds of early morning, was draped in silence. Nobody could understand what had gone on and most of the early forensic theories assumed, that because the neighbor had the scissors in her hand, she was the killer.
The theory was almost instantly debunked when reports from much of the city were coming in from children sobbingly reporting of their parents committing acts of suicide, and sometimes,acts of violence against others as well.
Sadly, the death tolls, as of 10:30 AM Tuesday morning, included a number of people of all ages who were considered mentally impaired as well, however many of them were killed by those who became victims soon afterward.
