It was a nice day. Tim was out for some fresh air, and to grab some food that wasn't created by the replicator things. Coffee would be good. Or a bagel. Maybe both, and he could bring breakfast back to Cissie.
He blinked when he caught sight of Dick. He looked... remarkably healthy, considering recent events.
Dick turned when he heard his name called and stopped. Either he had been drinking and wasn't fully sober yet, or Tim had gotten his growth spurt. It had been a few months since he'd seen the kid last, but still. "...Timmy?" he said just as uncertainly.
Ben had gotten curious about his new surroundings, deciding that a fast aerial sweep would be a good idea. After an hour of doing this, having to stop every ten minutes before he became one with the pavement, he was starting to get the hint that maybe this place was a whole lot bigger than it looked. That and the layout made absolutely no sense.
Take this for instance: He'd just recently been in a more forested area and now he'd somehow ended up in New York City. And as cool as buzzing Lady Liberty in Aerophibian form was, he couldn't explain how even Jetray's sonic speed had gotten him there so fast.
Ben pulled into a dive, swooping low over a park. He changed back about a foot or two off the ground, sliding along the turf before finally coming to a stop.
He checked the Omnitrix. The face was dark and red. "Well, I'm getting better with my timing at least."
Dick blinked at that. Sure, there'd been that time Superman came to the circus for charity, and seeing superheroes flying around wasn't that unusual. Still, it always came as a bit of a shock. "Wow, cool flying. You a superhero or something?" He hoped it wasn't a villain. He wasn't sure what he'd do then. Scream for help, maybe. Weren't the Titans in New York? Or someone?
Dick was walking along the park in his civilian clothes with Bruce on his leash, the large Shepard mix very protective of his master after the fight with joker. Not to say the man was vain but he was pretty glad Bones had healed the scar over his left eye though he still was blind in it behind the eye patch, at least it was gone so it wouldn't stick out his other mask if he decided to wear it here and there. He just hoped the man could give him his full sight back soon.Though he knew until they got another Batman..he'd have to wear the cowl, as much as it felt like a damn funeral shroud he had to wear the thing
( ... )
Dick blinked and stared a little. "Very familiar," he said. The other man looked almost identical to Dick. Older, and with an eye patch, but familiar. "You could almost be an older brother or something!" He grinned and walked over. He didn't know of any relatives, but it was far from impossible that he'd have cousins he'd never met. "I'm Dick Grayson. Yes, of those Graysons."
Dick Thought for a moment of a way to tell this younger double of himself that he had a carbon copy from another world. There was a part of him that wanted to tell the other to sit down and brace himself but if this version was anything like him he'd be able to handle the news, well he hoped he could. " Older brother nah I wish..Richard John Grayson..friend's call me Dick" Wait for it..yeah the guy was going to get wide eyes soon, though their double's were smirking despite themselves " I'd say you're nineteen right..having problems with Bruce yet? "
Dick raised an eyebrow. He'd heard some far-fetched stories before, but really. "Okay, who put you up to this? I mean, you do look freakishly similar to me, but come on, how gullible do you think I am? Should have gone for cousin, I might have bought it." He shook his head and grinned. "Who are you really? And who's Bruce?"
Roy had just finished meditating under the of the trees, he had a lot to think about as he was missing his little girl and his best friend had just lost his eye to The Joker.
Standing and stretching the slightly sore muscles, he hadn't sat still for quite sometime, he then picked up the red composite bow and started to fire arrow after arrow in quick succession into the tree near by.
His consetration didn't waver as he heard the yell.
"Nothin' Dicky, just got bored of the training room." He replied not turning to face the ebony-haired man. "Came out here to meditate, but you know I can't stay still for..."
He had turned towards the voice but was shocked to see an uninjured version of Dick Grayson.
Dick was never one to waste a first impression. He did a few handsprings, ending in a backflip and landing on his feet. He bowed. "Dick Grayson, at your service. Also known as Robin of the Big Top and in a few memorable shows, Superman." He stood up and grinned. "And who are you? Besides clearly the nemesis of all trees?"
Cissie decided to do her morning run through the park, since the weather was so nice. She slowed to a stop when she noticed someone hanging upside down from a tree. Frowning, she stepped closer. It almost looked like... "Dick?"
Dick looked up when he heard her. "Cissie?" Apparently his bizarre trip to New York was not take alone. Though if Cissie was with him, that probably ruled out drinking. He flipped out of the tree. "What are you doing here? Do you know how we got here?"
...though come to think of it, he really didn't remember Cissie being this, well, grown-up. She was just a kid. He'd heard kids grow up fast, but this was ridiculous.
Cissie blinked at him in surprise. This was definitely not the Dick she knew--he was a lot younger and in one piece, to begin with. She wasn't even sure he was Dick, but he seemed to know her and he looked like him. "I'm sorry. I think I'm confused. You're not who I thought you were."

And Tim knew he shouldn't be that healthy.
"Dick?" he called out, a little uncertainly.

"Definitely 'or something'," Ben said cheerfully, reaching out his hand. "My name's Ben."

"Hey!" he shouted. "What'd that tree ever do to you?"
