Who:All, Open When:Evening. Summery:Brainy calls a meeting to discus future organization. Notes:Please make subthreads for the meet and greet, limit three people per thread.
Duo stepped in after drawing the time out of their illustrious 'host'. Hands on the back of his head with fingers entwined, he glanced about with a casual air that belied his sharp observational skills. He made a face, the expression a mixture of mock disappointment and a small smirk.
"What? No food? You can't have a meeting without food."
The Coluan looked over from what he was doing, a brow raised. "This isn't a party, Duo. If you require something to eat, I recommend doing so before the meeting starts."
"My intention was for you and the others to make social connections and consider bonding over a meal after the meeting, not for you to be distracted with it during." Brainiac 5 reported, then glanced up at the young man, "Also, I would think your palates are considerably different from those of the 31st century." He smirked a bit.
Dick walked into the meeting room looking around to see if any of the other capes were there. To tell the truth the only reason he was there in the first place was to get a picture of the others he hadn't seen in the compound in his head for future referance.
Bruce was there--yes, playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne had shown up. Presumably just to make public figure out of himself and not so much contribute to any legitimate conversation. The best he could offer was, perhaps, money and resources of his company--which half existed in this bizarre world.
(Of course Batman was entirely too much of a loner to ever participate in something like this.)
So he was there, off to the side somewhere, leaning against the wall and stifling a yawn of boredom at the entirety of it all.
Dean Winchester walked into the conference room, and noticed at least one familiar face out of everyone. Like Dick, he wanted to see who all was stuck in the Ring with them.
He approached Dick, walking past the wallflower who looked all bored to hell, and flashed him a little smug smile. "I take it you got curious too."
Dick looked to dean his unmasked eyes giving a slight smile before he glanced slightly at the wallflower named Bruce. " Didn't we all..see that man over there..the one impersonating a wall decoration..thats Bruce" Dick had told the man about who he would be replacing in his world, and also threatened him with things worse than death if he opened his mouth about who that man was.
Zechs, of course, arrived than just 'on time.' He arrived several minutes before the meeting was meant to take place, and by several the officer meant about a good thirty minutes. He kept to himself, however, for the most part until more people arrived. He wasn't sure what to expect and in a situation like that he wanted to observe as much as possible rather than head straight into things like some sort of cocky fool. At least at the moment.
It took no longer then three minutes as of Gates arriving to spot his humanoid, long lost friend, Brainiac 5. Only moments later to be fitted with a Telepathic earpiece that functioned properly, and to realize that this wasn't exactly the Brainiac he remembered. Perhaps it was the robotic nature, the voice, the eyes, the lack of fleshy exterior.
As relieved as he was to see his fellow legionnaire, he was still dealing with the solitude he had been forced into from being imprisoned by McCaully. Gates moved around the room and spotted a man dressed far more elaborately then even the most distinguished U.P delegate. But then again, how outdated! And the mask. He nearly laughed. "I'd never thought I'd ever meet such a perfect representation of a faceless political regime."
Zechs's eyes watched the room keenly, and there was no way he would--could--miss the giant bug wandering around. And he most definitely did not miss its approach towards his own section of floor.
Beneath the mask his eyes widened slightly as it spoke to him, but the rest of his face remained impassive, unperturbed despite what he felt on the inside about a giant bug talking to him--something new, bizarre, and like nothing else he'd ever seen in his life although he reasoned this world was strange enough to expect this sort of thing. Even so, he did manage to keep his expression totally neutral--that is, until he registered the sentient bug's words and instantly a smirk curled onto his lips.
"If that extravagance of a uniform is any indication, I'd have to agree!" Gates replied, he couldn't imagine how many hours it took for the tailor to customize the uniform, and this man must have been a high ranking militant, if not a Duke!
Aristocratic nobalistic oppressor, more like it! He scoffed, turning his eyes away briefly, his green eyes narrowing. He could easily imagine Zechs forming a coup right under Brainy's nose. He'd be keeping his eyes on this hominid!
Had Jeremie not been bent over his laptop, he probably would've missed the message that went out. He blinked, trying to clear his eyes of the code he'd been staring at for the past several hours.
He began typing, trying to find the source of the message. He didn't bother trying to cover his tracks, sending a message along with it:
**Who are you?**
((OOC: Double asterisks denote text messages. Just an FYI.))
The coluan picked up the response on the grid almost instantly. He turned his attention to the interface and returned to it, only to reply with: Brainiac 5. If you intend to learn more, please attend the meeting.
He logged off of the system, shutting his laptop closed and putting it in his side bag. However, he paused before exiting into the living space he shared with Hilde.
"You are going to behave yourself," he growled under his breath

"Hey... I never said it was a party, but even meetings have food at them sometimes. You could be a better host." He chuckled.

"I do my best," he replied somewhat sardonically.
