I'm only on tumblr simply because most of fandom seem to have migrated over there for pretty pics. I certainly don't post anything private or personal..that's what LJ/DW with it's filtering is for.
Yeah, that seems to be the general tendency. Tumblr certainly isn't the place to post about RL or personal stuff, but it seems that if you are in any kind of fandom and want to interact with others fans that's almost the only place left to do so.
It's anime ... Full Metal Alchemist *blush* I might have mentioned it, months and months ago, not sure tho XD It started by accident, in the first few days alone in my apartment it was on at the time I sat down for dinner ... one thing led to another, and now I'm hopelessly hooked XD
I tried to get back in touch with D-Boys but it hurts too much; I was mostly ok when Shirota left, but now with no Yuichi, no Yuyan and Yanagi being pretty much inactive it just depresses me to check their stuff out :((
I'm watching Brotherhood right now, little by little ... They're pretty different, Brotherhood is longer but it feels a bit more rushed. And I'm in love with the first movie ... Heartbreaking, but so beautiful T_T
I remember you told me about your foot... I didn't realize it takes so long to heal, you poor thing T_T At least you get to indulge in fangirling, so I guess not every bad thing is fully... bad XD
I got so bored with english/american pop that I started checking out K-Pop, I blame you and Chris! >=/ :P But I could never keep up with a 12 members band O_O I already have a time telling apart the members of 5-pieces bands!
I got hooked to Full Metal Alchemist ... it's 10 years old by now, but that's the norm for me: discovering fandoms when most of their fans have moved on =_= I refused to check it out years ago, I only heard it was a story about an alchemist in the military and I saw no appeal whatsoever. Last February I went to live by myself and it was on at dinner time ... combine the novelty of not having to watch whatever my parents chose with wanting to distract myself and I started watching it. Come December and now I can't seem to quit it >_
Hahahahahah! I like it myself (I'm an Envy cosplayer after all! And the BF does Roy Mustang, so you can guess my OTP there ;) ) but yeah, that fandom's been rather quiet around here since the manga ended. There are heaps of fics though, enough to keep one entertained for months! :P
LOL for your OTP I can guess which serie is your favorite ;) I'm watching Brotherhood now, very slowly to savor the experience XD At the moment though my heart is still beating a bit faster for the original serie ... ♥ I'm afraid my OTP is something you won't like... I'm a Roy/Ed girl XD
And you're right, there are heaps of fics around! Although I'm bummed cause it seems like a lot of the "classics" aren't online anymore, I'm having such a hard time finding them. >_< I'd read this rec for a fic and try to find it only to realize every link to it is broken T_T
I have a Tumblr, but I don't really talk about my fandom opinions on it. Or my real life. Or post anything that I want to find later. I still find LJ to be the most comfortable personal blogging platform. No one sees what I post unless I already choose to let them see it.
Your personal life is plenty interesting. If you post here about it, then I won't be worrying about how you are doing. :D

Aww! You're such a sweetie.. I'm sorry if I make you worry, but once I get home in the evenings I'm too tired to do much of anything... Hence why I steal internet time from work when things get a bit slow. I won't make promises cause I don't want to break them, but I'll try to be more present... :(
Oh, I am the same way. That's why I only reblog things on Tumblr, and hardly post here. But I want to post here more! I'm just so tired at the end of the day, and if I don't have a little time to steal at work, well....
