2 posts in 3 days, I feel almost proud of myself XD
It makes me sad though that I only had to go back 3 pages in my Friends List... I remember the days where if I stayed away for 1 day I had to go back 8-10 pages :(
It's depressing that most of the posts I found are feeds from Kimeru's blog >_>
I wonder what happened...

I think that LJ is a better place to post now than it had been for a while, but those DNS attacks really took their toll. There's no where else I'd really rather post my thoughts, though.

I didn't think about those attacks but it's true, I kept reading notices about all the downtimes...
In what way you mean that it's a better place to post now that it has been in some time?

It really feels good to be back here though.
I don't know what it is about LJ but it feels like home more than Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook or whatever other blog could be.
I always associated it with the friends I made on here. I met my best online friends through LJ.

There's nowhere else where you can protect your posts as easily. OK, there's Dreamwidth, but it's just a copy of LJ and never really has gotten off the ground. Here, you can post public or post to friends only or post only for your self. You can find new friends in the communities. You can share without sharing with everyone in the world. It's just cozier ( ... )

I think a lot of people have moved on to Tumblr or Facebook, but LJ's still my favourite. (Maybe just because I'm prone to verbosity XD) Know what you mean about the F-list though! I've fallen out of the habit of checking every day since it's not quite so busy anymore.

And wow, Sirius! *_* So adorable! Heh, sounds like he's got a lot of personality, though. Sounds like a handful!

For me, I am on FB pretty much when I am on the computer, but nowadays, I don't even have time for that. Now I'm trying to really post more on here. See where it takes me.

I've been more on Twitter than here, I'm rarely on FB.
But I've had your same problem, I don't have time for any of the 3.
But I'm trying to make time for LJ to try and reconnect with the friends I have here.
