DeathSpank is AWESOME

So I bought it and OMG this is so much fun!

LOVE the humor, this is exactly what I've been craving. Simple fun action, great humor, fabulous graphics.
VERY solid game. I absolutely love it to itty bitty bits. It's a little steep at roughly 15 USD, but the production values are so high, it's worth the premium price.

I haven't really established what constitutes a good value in download space just yet. I mean, sheesh, downloads feel more like a service than an actual product which probably doesn't make sense to you, does it?

Well, compared to a 1500 yen movie ticket, you're right, DeathSpank is a stellar deal. It does have the production values and play length to really justify the price.

Define "download space"? I guess you mean XBLA and PSN? In that case, it varies a huge amount.

Steam doesn't really count for that because you can buy basically whatever PC game you want there :D

Anyway, $15 for a good game with a decent amount of gameplay seems fine to me :D

Steam, XBLA, XNA, PSN, Appstore, Casual portals, etc.

I KNOW that's really big and nebulous. It seems like I can get all sorts of great values for anything from 99 cents to 20 bux.

There are a lot of 1200 MS Point games that just don't seem worth it to me. Though DeathSpank is NOT one of those games!
