I didn't actually beat the game until about 5 years ago, and I remember that despite all the old tropes, Oddler's fate and the ending kind of surprised me (not the princess BS, but the reactions of the other party members). I sort of expect games that old to be chock-full of cliches, and seeing that be tweaked slightly was kind of cool.

Fucking sweet game aside from the occasional bullshit critical hits from enemies, tho ;)

Another prolonged tale of revenge! I really wish Sarah kicked the crap out of everyone. I guess with Sarah, it's not really a shock. She likes you so much she'll get you in trouble just to get you and her together(I let Chester die a few times to bulk up her levels on heal. :P ( ... )
